Maple Canyon

Paul had just bought some new rock climbing stuff and wanted to try it out.  So we talked Kim and Payton and Casey and Tina into going with us.  We had to wait until after Dallan's baptism so it was a little chilly.  We found a great wall with levels to challenge everybody.  Lexie did a little better this time than her first time.  Small steps people small steps!

Since we talked Tina and Casey into coming with us, Tina had to study while we all had fun (she is a good student).  Tori is prego and couldn't climb.  We all had a good time just being outdoors!

JD doing Gangnam Style on top of the rock.  Lexie thought this was hilarious!

Front Runner

My kids love Front Runner!  I love the fact that I don't have to drive and I really just get to relax.  Me and the two little ones rode the train down to Provo so Tori could do my hair.  We spent the day at Tori's and then went to dinner when Lexie and JD got there.  We then headed to Fairview.
Boston slept most of the way!
Brynnlee sang at the top of her lungs (only one person got up and switched cars)!  She also danced and played the iPad.

Oh and she shared her sunglasses with Boston.

JAZZ Game

JD and I went to the Jazz game with Brett and Kim.  It wasn't a great game but we had fun just spending time with them and without any kids!  We ate way too much at Tuchanos before the game.  Poor Brett was on crutches, he walked from The Gateway to Energy Solutions and then back after the game.  His knee had to be killing him on the ride home.

Dr. Hugh

Brynnlee has been making leaps and bounds with her speech.  She loves going to Dr. Hugh's.  She goes right in and gets the 'BIG' chair and picks a game.  She will try to say anything he asks her to.  Through out the week we practice what she worked on in therapy.  She still has a long way to go but, from a year ago she is doing great!

Lexie's First Soccer Game and Rock Climbing

Lexie's first soccer game of the spring season.  She has been excited for soccer to finally start again.  She has been able to practice with Clay and Kelsee a couple of times and of course Dad.  So she thinks she has improved quite a bit from the fall.  I was pleasantly surprised, she did awesome!
Boston loved watching the girls run around.
Brynnlee was more into Lexie's drink than the actual game.
One happy girl, she had just scored a goal!
Whenever Lexie is playing she keeps an eye on dad.  She makes sure he is watching the whole game.  JD is really good with her and has been working on a couple skills.  He asked her to stop the ball and change directions and she did it during the game.  The best was to see her look at her dad beaming because she knew she did what he asked.
Later that Saturday we decided to go rock climbing.  Yes this was my first time in over 6 years!  I was really rusty and weak but it was fun.
We took Lexie for the first time.  She was a little timid but I think she will get more comfortable climbing.
She didn't climb very high before she was ready to come down, but every time she did go a little high than her last climb.
JD had to lead climb and help both Lexie and I.  What would we do without him?

Lexie just starting off.
Getting instructions from Dad.

Lexie's Field Trip

Lexie had a class field trip to the Dinosaur Park.  I was able to go because it was the exact time Brynnlee was in school!  I had the privilege of following these cute girls around.

Lexie loves all things old.  Old houses, barns, cars, rocks, fossils, people, anything that has a history.
I love that these girls are friends and that they all live in walking distance.  Boo that Tess is moving!
Funny girls

Boston was of course the best baby ever.  He just chilled in the stroller not making a sound the entire time.

Brynnlee!

Brynnlee is a crack up.  The day after we got home from St. George she comes into the TV room dressed like this and says, "George again ready!"  She had packed for St. George and was ready to go!

Easter

The Easter Bunny hid Lexie's basket in the oven!  Silly bunny.

Brynnlee's favorite thing in her basket, Oreos!

Trying to go after the good stuff!  Too bad he can't have it yet.

Oh, yeah she is that cool!
Cute kids ready for church.
These two are total trouble together.  They flooded the bathroom (like 3 inches of water on the floor), used toothbrushes and soap to clean the mirror!  Yep they are trouble!
Our 3 beautiful children.

Patiently waiting for the Easter egg hunt to start!
Brynnlee was awesome at the getting eggs.  We let her, Houston and Marley start before Lexie and Payton because we thought they wouldn't really know what to do.  We couldn't have been more wrong.  Brynnlee went out and grabbed eggs fast!

Brynnlee and Marley opening all their eggs!  We over heard Marley say, "Brynnlee stop putting your candy in my basket!"  Brynnlee is a candy snob, she will not eat or even let any candy she doesn't like be in her basket.  She was putting all her robin eggs in Marley's basket

Cutest boy ever!!

Spring Break

We love St. George!  We are blessed to be able to go down and have a wonderful place to stay and usually awesome people (family) to hang out with.  We headed down for the Easter/Spring Break weekend.
We tried to hike Red Cliffs but it was full and we didn't want to wait around for hours.  So we decided to try another hike which we never found, but we did find a little hike the kids loved and caves to climb in.

We even got Lexie to do a little rock climbing!  Hopefully she gets over her fears soon because we are going to do real rock climbing soon!
Yes, she looks like a homeless child, but we still love her.

Swimming!  I told Lexie she had to jump off the rocks if she wanted to swim in the indoor pool!  The outside pool was still a bit cold.
Lexie and Payton practicing the back float.
Cousins have so much fun together.

Nothing better than a photo booth!
Free hair styles
Free face paintings
Pure joy!

The Art Festival had these paintings up.  How can you resist sticking your head through.

Brynnlee and I aren't so great at keeping a straight face.
