Boston's Blessing Day

On December 2, 2012 Boston was given a name and blessing by JD.  It was an awesome day.  Boston was given an amazing blessing and he had over 50 family members there to support him.  Everyone came to our house after church for soup and dessert.  We had a house full but we were so grateful that so many of our family members could come.

A really shady picture of the blessing boy.

Lexie's 1st time skiing

JD and Lexie went up Thanksgiving morning.  Lexie was so excited she could hardly stand it.  They had a great time.  Lexie loved it so much she talked JD into taking her up the next day too.  She has caught on pretty quick and is going down all by herself without the edgy wedgy.

Happy Thanksgiving

This is the Sunday before Thanksgiving.  I had the girls already for church and decided I would try to get a couple of cute pictures.
This is after a bribe.
This is what I was getting before the bribe.  Oh, my funny funny girls.
Thanksgiving day.  Yes that is the face Brynnlee made when I said smile!  She was upset she couldn't hold Boston.
What a sweet big sister.

Randomness of our lives . . .

JD and I went to an RSL game.  it was nice to get out just the two of us.  Too bad they lost.
Brynnlee loves her little brother.  She especially loves posing for pictures with him.
Such a sweetie.  All bundled up for a family  night walk.
Brynnlee trying on Lexie's ski stuff.  She really wants to go skiing.
Lexie making sure all her ski stuff fits.  She could hardly wait for Thanksgiving because she got to go skiing for the first time.
Shopping with the girls is never dull!
B's posing again with Boston.  She always gets close to him and yells "MOM, CHEESE" .

Pictures

My cousin Katie took pictures of the kids for me.  These are all unedited but the last one.  (edited ones are coming).  She did such a great job.  I love all of them.
Boston in his blessing outfit.
My little man!
He had had enough.
My beautiful kids!  I can't believe I have a picture of them all smiling.  Katie is a genius.  We were bribing Brynnlee with everything we could think of.  Finally Dora yogurt of all things is what she went for.

Family Home Evening Fun

Every Monday we play games as a family.  We have so much fun and the girls are getting really competitive. One Monday night we decided to play the flour game that JD and I both played growing up.
Lexie being very careful not to make the quarter fall.
Brynnlee was surprisingly really good.

Lexie dug out the quarter and took a drink right after!  Got to love the flour paste!
Dad lost!
I didn't lose the whole game so Lexie and Dad attacked me with flour.

Fall

JD and Lexie went pheasant hunting.
Lexie had a blast.  She loved it!
After JD cut the head off the birds she continued to play with the head and wanted to bring it home.  Sometimes I worry about her.
Frightmares!  I was finally able to go on rides.  Grandpa Parry watched Boston while the rest of us went to Lagoon.

Brynnlee was a lot more brave this trip and wanted to do rides she had never been on.  The train was still her favorite though.
